Why it Matters
FRONT
Sequencing, open or closed stride, and head rotation can be observed from this angle
BEHIND
Learn how a batter’s swing changes based on the incoming pitch path and location in the zone.
SIDE
See aspects of the batter’s balance, swing path, and timing. This is the most typical view for capturing video of a batter, and is the view to be used with the HitTrax Biomechanics module.
ABOVE
Review bat attack angle, hand casting, and point of impact. This is the most common position for a user to locate a hard-wired VCAM.
EASY SETUP WITH IPHONE OR VCAM
Add the Viewpoint Starter Kit to your HitTrax system, and download the Viewpoint app from the App Store. Once connected, your video live streams will be enabled in your HitTrax software and ready for capture.
